A Professional Adventurer
As a professional adventurer, Glenn has been part of bold expeditions to Antarctica, Nepal, Pakistan, Indonesia, New Zealand, Russia, Europe and the USA, to the highest mountains and the depths of the oceans.
Glenn says. "Most importantly I've developed a deep understanding of the profound benefits of an active adventure lifestyle to genuine peak performance and I'm especially interested in the role of fear in degrading our health and happiness. Years of bold wilderness expeditions combined with my work as an emergency doctor has taught me how to harness fear to progress, rather than hamper my goals."
About Heather
Heather met Glenn at one of his inspirational keynote presentations. At the time she was managing one of Australia's largest speakers bureaux, with offices around Australia and in New Zealand. Listening to speakers was a big part of her role.
When she first heard Glenn speak he made a profound impression on her. She found him authentic, and deeply inspiring. They became friends and married a few years later.
Glenn turned Heather's life upside down (in a good way). She was not adventurous, she was a corporate executive, yet today by following an active adventure lifestyle and a process to overcome irrational fear and build physical and emotional strength, she is an extreme sport athlete. She's studied fitness, nutrition and meditation to further her ability to pursue bold adventures, and help others achieve their potential.
When they're not adventuring or speaking Heather manages the farm ‘Dark Horse Farm Yackandandah’ and follows her passion for growing their own food organically, meditation, exercise, horses, writing and photography. She is is the author of three books and many articles. You can read one of her inspirational stories on legendary skydiver Wendy Smith in SkyDivingMag and amazing 60 Minutes reporter Liz Hayes in Renegade Collective Magazine.
Heather is a popular inspirational speaker. She’s spoken at major events around the world.
An Adventure Partnership
Glenn and Heather's approach to Fearlessness doesn't mean they have no fear, far from it. Glenn says, "Fear is essential, it's a protective mechanism and without it none of us would last long, but the outmoded fear system humans share with all other animals is ill-equipped to deal with modern life and more often than not it stands between us and our true potential."
A "Fearless LIfe' is an attitude built on commitment and powered by understanding, embracing, and using fear to be who we want to be and live the life we want to live.
This is what Glenn and Heather teach in their Keynote Speaking Presentations, Workshops, Trips and Treks and coming soon, ‘Fearless Living’ programs on their farm in Yackandandah.
They teach from Glenn's background as a Physician specialising in remote medicine, their long history in extreme sport, in life and love, and since men and women experience fear differently, from a male and female perspective.
Today Glenn and Heather are a successful team, in life, and also in adventure.
A Team with Big Dreams
Glenn and Heather's partnership has produced three world records and two Australian records in extreme sport, including the Guinness record for the worlds highest BASEjump in a wingsuit from 6604m on Mt Meru in the Indian Himalaya (the BASEClimb 3 project) and the first (and only) wingsuit crossing of the Grand Canyon (April 9th 2015). They've flown across Sydney Harbour, Brisbane city, Lake Eyre and Wilpena Pound. They've climbed together in Nepal, Pakistan, New Zealand, the USA, Canada and Europe.
An Active Adventure Centred Healthy Lifestyle
Glenn and Heather believe in the power of adventure and the wilderness to inspire a lifelong commitment to fitness, heath, emotional intelligence and resilience.
They are keen trail runners, mountain bikers, kayakers, skiiers, climbers and trekkers.
They’ve been plant powered for many years, happily maintaining an age defying, health promoting lifestyle as the most ethical and empowering way to live in modern society.

Glenn is a multi-award winning documentary filmmaker. He's made many successful films for National Geographic including BASEClimb.

Glenn and Heather had fun making their own documentaries - BASEClimb 2 & 3, and working with 60 Minutes (three times) and Australian Story (twice) and working with Jon Long on his feature documentary 'The Search for Freedom'.
